On the occasion of Singles' Day Weekend, we want to celebrate those women known internationally for making a difference. Whether they are single or have a soulmate, it doesn't matter. What matters to us is what each of them, as single individuals, has done for the planet and society.
While they seem to enjoy fame, some celebrities are also making a difference in the world. These environmentalists demonstrate a completely different picture of being famous, using their influence for a good cause.
The "Harry Potter" star is a global advocate for gender equality, not for nothing has she been named a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador in 2014.
Watson participated in education campaigns for girls in Bangladesh, Zambia, and other rural areas of Africa. In addition to that, she also participated in the UN HeForShe movement, fighting for gender equality.
